Grove32 is a free web directory built to give websites a reliable, indexed presence across 22 subject categories. The project launched as a straightforward listing resource — a place where site owners can register their domains and where researchers can find categorised, deduplicated records of active web properties. Every site in the directory has been submitted voluntarily and passes a basic editorial review before appearing in the index. The review process checks that submitted sites are active, relevant to their stated category, and not already listed. Duplicates are removed on an ongoing basis to maintain a clean record. The directory currently holds 851 approved listings. Coverage runs from automotive and dental services through to software companies, media outlets, financial providers, and travel operators. The General Listings section accommodates sites that span multiple sectors or occupy niche areas without a dedicated section of their own. Submission is open to any qualifying website at no charge. Site owners fill out a short form with a URL, a title, and a brief description. Once approved, listings remain live without a renewal requirement. Sites that go offline may be reviewed and removed periodically. Grove32 does not accept payment for placement or ranking. All approved sites appear on equal terms within their section, ordered by submission date. The directory operates on a flat, editorial model without sponsored slots or featured positions.
